Summary Professional Experience:
Gemma leads a multidisciplinary team of behaviour support clinicians, allied health professionals, and forensic specialists. Known for her collaborative, supportive, and focused approach, with strong capability in complex operations, stakeholder engagement, and strategic contract oversight, Gemma sees her role as an important operational bridge—managing the structural and systemic demands of the organisation so clinicians can concentrate on delivering high-quality work in the field.
Gemma brings extensive experience across the human services sector in the UK, the US, and Australia. Her professional journey has included youth justice, court work, education welfare, sexual health, disability services, child protection, and domestic and family violence. Before moving into her current leadership role, Gemma built deep practice expertise through therapeutic casework and team leadership in programs focused on family support and sustained change.
Gemma’s leadership approach is grounded in clinical thinking, relational practice, and high emotional intelligence. She champions a secure-base style of leadership and draws strongly on Neurodevelopmentally, Attachment, and Trauma Informed (NATI) practice. By applying attachment and trauma-informed principles to team development and decision-making, she works to ensure staff feel culturally safe, well supported, and connected to the broader purpose of their work.
