Summary Professional Experience:
Carolyn is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in disability justice, aged care, and social services. She holds a Bachelor in Human Services and a Master of Social Work from La Trobe University, a Specialist Certificate in Criminology, and advanced training in forensic disability and positive behaviour support.
Currently working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Carolyn has nearly three years of experience developing Behaviour Support Plans and implementing positive behaviour strategies for individuals with complex needs. She previously worked for five years in the Disability Justice space as a Coordinator and Acting Team Leader with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) in Forensic Disability Services.
Carolyn also brings extensive expertise in NDIS and aged care, with previous leadership roles in program management and quality coordination. She has an in-depth understanding of Disability legislation and is known for her ethical, client-centred approach and ability to lead teams through sector reforms, crisis and change management.
