Caprice McEntyre is a Clinical Consultant and Psychologist with experience in psychological therapy, assessment and positive behaviour support across disability, autism, mental health and child protection contexts. Her work includes cognitive and non-verbal assessments, functional behaviour assessment, behaviour support planning, implementation support, stakeholder training and the development of practical resources that support change in everyday environments.

Caprice has a strong interest in working alongside people with autism, intellectual disability and anxiety, including where these experiences intersect. She has supported individuals and families in supported independent living homes, family homes, foster care contexts and community-based services. Her background in crisis support, autism advisory work and psychological placements has shaped her responsive, accessible and person-centred approach.

Caprice’s practice is informed by neuroaffirming, attachment-based and trauma-informed approaches, as well as social and emotional wellbeing principles. She also draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy strategies, motivational interviewing, applied behaviour analysis and behavioural skills training.
