No previous counselling experience is required.
SAL Consulting is the industry aligned training expert.
Why this course?
Many people working in the human services sector find themselves having conversations they were never formally trained for. Whether you’re supporting clients, families, colleagues or community members, people often share personal experiences, trauma, grief or distress when they feel safe.
How does it work?

This course focuses on developing basic skills around engaging with and supporting the people you deliver services to who may be affected by, or disclosing information of a personal, sensitive or stressful nature.
Delivered by experienced SAL Consulting clinicians, the course combines current best practice with practical learning activities, allowing participants to immediately apply new skills in their workplace.
