Summary Professional Experience:
Harry is a graduate occupational therapist with a passion for enabling independence, functional recovery, and participation across diverse life contexts. His developing practice combines evidence-based occupational therapy principles with strong analytical, managerial, and technological expertise.
Harry has over 10 years’ experience working with children and young people in out-of-home care, case management, and multidisciplinary teams that support them. He applies trauma-informed and strength-based frameworks to foster resilience, engagement, and meaningful skill development.
Through his placements, Harry gained practical experience across multiple settings — including Carpentaria’s Ready for Home program, CDU’s Stroke Bootcamp, Royal Darwin Hospital’s Emergency and ICU departments, and APM’s Return-to-Work services — developing proficiency in functional assessment, upper-limb rehabilitation, home modification planning, and ergonomic evaluation.
Before pursuing occupational therapy, Harry held senior leadership roles within the Northern Territory Government as an Assistant Director in the Department of Education and Training, where he managed multimillion-dollar contracts, coordinated statewide workforce programs, and led digital transformation projects. With over 20 years of combined experience in management, ICT systems, and workforce capability development, Harry brings a unique perspective that blends clinical reasoning with strategic planning, innovation, and operational excellence.
