Hafsa Muheet
Qualifications / Professional Associations:
Bachelor in Occupational Therapy – Dow University of Health and Sciences
Summary Professional Experience:
I have experience supporting adolescents with neurodevelopmental and mental health needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and behavioural difficulties. Much of my work focuses on supporting young people to build functional skills, develop self-regulation strategies, and improve participation in everyday activities such as learning, routines, and social engagement.
I take a strengths-based approach in my practice and place strong emphasis on building rapport with young people. I aim to communicate in a clear and accessible way, avoiding clinical jargon, and tailoring sessions to align with the young person’s interests to help them feel comfortable and engaged.
I also have experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including Behaviour Support Practitioners and other allied health professionals, to ensure supports are consistent and client centred. I would be very happy to work closely with you and review previous reports to support continuity of care
