Summary Professional Experience:
Amelia has over 10 years’ experience supporting children and young people in out of home care and their care teams in government and non-government settings.
Amelia is experienced in providing support to people with disabilities and complex support needs and their teams, including the development, delivery and implementation of comprehensive positive behaviour support plans, including regulated restrictive practices and other NQSC requirements.
Amelia has extensive experience working with individuals and families with complex trauma experiences within the human services setting, including the provision of direct, trauma informed therapy; and experience in the administration of standardised psychometric assessments for children, young people and adults in the out of home care and the disability settings.
Amelia is a registered supervisor, with experience supporting provisional psychologists, case managers, behaviour support practitioners, and direct care workers within the disability and out of home care sectors.
