Summary Professional Experience:
Lisa has enjoyed working with people who primarily have an intellectual disability for 25 years. She started out as a support worker, then moved into practitioner and leadership roles. As a practitioner, Lisa has mainly delivered services in the areas of complex behaviour support and mental health, across a variety of community and service settings. This also extends to individual therapy, groups, training and consultation. Lisa has supervised provisional psychologists, psychologists, and behaviour support practitioners since 2004. She has been responsible for leading the governance, development and delivery of a range of clinical systems and processes. Ensuring services are high quality through collaboration and alignment with individual client goals, supporting the care network, are consistent with best community practice, are accountable and meet governance requirements have been some key components. Lisa has collaborated with both government and non-government organisations to extend the development of practitioners and support workers in the behaviour support and psychology spaces.
