Her skills include complex speech sound disorders, expressive language, developmental language disorder, social communication, and support for autistic people and their families.

Laura’s practice is holistic, evidence based and guided by neuroaffirming practice and trauma-informed principles. She seeks to understand each person within the context of their everyday life, relationships, strengths and support needs, with safety, trust and engagement forming the foundation of her work.

Laura was drawn to speech pathology through personal experience of disability in her family and an understanding of the importance of providers who listen, adapt and stay engaged. She is passionate about supporting people who may be seen as “too hard” and helping them work towards goals that matter to them and their families.

Laura brings a gentle, practical style to her work, drawing on evidence while remaining open to different pathways toward each person’s goals.
