Summary Professional Experience:

Jack is a Clinical Consultant and Behaviour Support Practitioner with a background in psychosocial support, behaviour therapy and positive behaviour support. His work focuses on understanding the needs, strengths and experiences of each person, then developing practical behaviour support strategies that can be used consistently by families, carers, support teams and organisations.

Jack has experience supporting people with complex behavioural support needs across NDIS and mental health settings, including community, supported accommodation and group home environments. Jack’s role includes undertaking behaviour support assessments, developing behaviour support plans, completing home and service visits, reviewing data, and supporting teams to implement strategies in ways that are realistic, person-centred and responsive to individual needs and context.

Jack’s approach is calm, collaborative and person-centred. His clinical work is grounded in an understanding of mental health, trauma, attachment and neurodevelopment, and how these experiences can shape the way people communicate, relate to others and respond to their environment. Jack uses this understanding to help individuals and support teams make sense of behaviour in context, and to develop responses that are practical, consistent and compassionate.

Jack also has a strong interest in sport psychology, including the connection between identity, performance, mental health and wellbeing.
