Summary Professional Experience:

Anastasia is a Registered Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner who supports individuals across the lifespan, with a particular focus on children and young people in the out-of-home care (OOHC) sector. Her work is relational, collaborative, and person-centred, with interventions thoughtfully tailored to each client’s needs and goals. She prioritises cultural safety and creates an inclusive environment where clients, families, and carers feel respected, understood, and supported.

Anastasia has built her career with SAL Consulting since starting as an undergraduate intern and has grown into a highly experienced and respected clinician. She has delivered psychological support across metropolitan, regional, and remote settings, including within Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory. Her expertise includes developing Neurodevelopmentally, Attachment, and Trauma Informed (NATI) behaviour support plans, therapy and administering psychometric assessments.

Building on the foundations of NATI practice, Anastasia integrates evidence-based approaches including play therapy, life story work, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She works alongside children, adolescents, and adults in partnership with their care teams, tailoring support to the needs of individuals, families, carers, workers, and organisations.
