NDIS Group Training

Ready to upgrade your team’s skillset with NDIS training?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a system that supports vulnerable people and their families or carers. 

The coordination of this scheme requires the ability to collaborate with participants as well as navigating a sometimes, complicated framework

Who is this for?

Learning this system is a priority for organisations and individual support coordinators. We have created a skill set program that assists people to build their knowledge and skills in this area.


SAL Consulting is the industry aligned training expert.

The course includes up to two nationally recognised units of competency:

  • CHCDIS021 Prepare for
    NDIS support coordination

  • CHCDIS022 Coordinate
    NDIS participant support

(You can choose to complete one
or both units).

The program will build on
the following topics:

  • Understanding the NDIS system

  • Different funding types

  • Stakeholder roles and responsibilities

  • Engaging with service providers

  • NDIS planning

  • Supporting families and carers

  • Positive behaviour support

We will come to your organisation and deliver this training in person, along with follow-up tutorial webinars and assessment support for all participants.

We have the opportunity to apply for part-qualification funding through the NSW Smart and Skilled program. More details on this program can be provided if you’re interested. Or we can provide a quote for fee-for-service delivery.

What is included in the program:

  • Two-day face-to-face delivery.

  • Two follow-up webinar tutorials
    to provide opportunities for reflective practice as well as assessment support.

  • Individual assessment support as required.

  • Access to our interactive online learning portal with further learning tools and assessment submission.

What else do you need to know?

  • In order to receive a Statement of Attainment for one or both of the units, you must complete all the required learning and assessment work at a Satisfactory level.

  • Groups can be run with a minimum of 5 and maximum
    of 25 participants.

  • We cannot guarantee Smart and Skilled funding. All applicants must provide a letter of support as a minimum to proceed with the application.

  • The units of competency are part of the bigger qualification CHC43121 Certificate IV
    in Disability Support
    .
