SAL Consulting offers therapeutic service for children, adolescents and adults who have experienced complex trauma, long-term difficulties in emotional interaction, attachment difficulties, and severe behavioural disruption due to abusive and neglectful backgrounds.

We also provide therapeutic services targeting skills development.

At SAL Consulting we provide intensive and specialised therapeutic interventions that are empirically sound, evidence based and culturally appropriate. 

Our therapeutic services include:

Individual psychological interventions and treatment planning for children, young people and adults with child protection and/or disability backgrounds;

Family therapy to families involved with DoCS and/or DADHC, clinical consultation;

Support to foster carers and residential carers;

Group programs;

Risk assessments;

Comprehensive psychometric assessments; and

Court reports.

SAL Consulting offers a direct local community service and we also provide onsite visits and video linkup with rural areas and other states.  Agencies and professionals making a referral need to complete our intake form, which, is available on request. 

Currently, our therapy team includes various disciplines including the following:

Forensic psychologist /clinical psychologist / psychologists  (Australian Psychological Society); and

Social Workers (Australian Association of Social Workers)
