Our clinical services are conducted in accordance with all relevant legislation, including the Children and Young Persons’ Care and Protection Act and the Disability Services Act. All clinical services comply with ethical guidelines as outlined by the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Clinicians employed by SAL Consulting have relevant qualifications and experience in the provision of psychological, therapeutic and clinical services to a range of different agencies and clientele. Clinical Services provided include:
Comprehensive behavioural and lifestyle assessments;
Risk Assessments and Management Plans;
Development and implementation of Lifestyle & Behaviour Intervention Support Plans;
Individual Client Appraisal Reports (ICARe) for children and young people in Out of Home Care, and for people with a disability;
Service model planning and matching assessments
Other psychological assessments (including cognitive and functional assessments, personality based assessment, trauma assessment etc utilising industry accredited assessment tools);
Family Assessment and Restoration planning;
Clinical Consultation and Service development;
Therapeutic and Counselling Supports (See Therapy Services);
Clinical Support and Supervision for both individuals and teams; and
Speech and Communication Assessments and Support.
Individualised services that are required outside of the scope of the services listed above can be negotiated directly with SAL Consulting.
